The 4th edition of Maker Faire Prague 2021 – an innovative, modern DIY festival – will start on the weekend of 11 and 12 September, so we bring you all the important information in one place. When will the doors open for you? What to prepare for and what not to forget?
Saturday (September 11): 10.00–18.00
Sunday (September 12): 10.00–17.00
Industrial Palace (Prague Exhibition Grounds – Výstaviště).
Activities will take place both inside and outside the palace.
Nearly 150 exhibitions and many other attractions and workshops await! You are invited to try everything out. You won’t find „no touching“ signs here. 🙂
The program of workshops and performances can be found HERE. The program on the main stage is free for all festival visitors as well as many activities at the individual booths. In addition, there are also workshops with limited capacity in several dedicated spaces. Please register for individual workshops via the GoOut platform, where you will also pay for the workshop. The workshop ticket is only valid with the festival ticket.
Yes. To enter the premises, we will require a valid ticket, a mask/respirator and proof (Covid pass or other certificate) that you meet one of the conditions:
A) You have completed your vaccinations (you are more than 2 weeks past the second dose).
B) You are less than 180 days from having COVID-19 disease.
C) You have a negative test (less than 7 days old in the case of the PCR, less than 3 days old in the case of the antigen test). A negative test can be proven by digital confirmation (SMS or email) or paper confirmation sent or issued by certified collection sites. Don’t have time to get tested before the event? No problem. You can have an antigen test done right outside the festival gates.
Public transport: Výstaviště stop, tram lines 6, 12, 15, 17 and 43

Yes, the Industrial Palace is wheelchair accessible. There are also wheelchair accessible toilets in front of the Palace.
Of course, curious people of all ages are invited! Families with strollers are welcome. You will also find a children’s corner where you can relax with your little ones.
Please leave your dogs and other pets at home this time, they are not allowed in the Exhibition Grounds. Exceptions are assistance and guide dogs and Doggo, the robotic dog.
